Did you know???

Did you know that American Girl stuff would fit some cats???? Our model Yates is looking quite glamorous in aqua shades, hats and tall sky blue boots. I think the blues really highlight Yates coloring!!!LOL!!!! Jess was the girl of the year a couple of years ago and we thought she looked like our Lauryn. So--of course we got the whole kit. Who knew that all that gear would end up being torture for our cat.

Easter Egg Hunt

Here's Logan at the Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt at our church. It was completely dark and there were strobe lights flashing for the older kids. Logan had a great time.

"Brace" yourself

Here's our girl Lauryn with her new bling!!!! On Thursday Lauryn got all her hardware on. At first she was excited--but by the time she got home from school--she was very ouchy. It has been a LONG, whine filled weekend. We've talked before about how she isn't the best patient in the world. Well, now she completely gets that the braces are "moving" her teeth and that she can actually feel that movement right now--she hasn't been as excited as she was going into this new adventure!!!

Winter Wonderland

Last weekend was a crazy one!!! I was completely and utterly sick. Started on Monday by Thursday I was sure I had every disease known to man. Unfortunately what I had was Influenza. Nothing to do, but be sick!!!! On Friday we got hit with a HUGE snowstorm. It dumped snow, snow and more snow. Everything stopped and closed down!!! Kids came home from school early. Not that it mattered in the least to me--I wasn't going anywhere. The temps weren't to cold all weekend--so L&L did get to play in the snow and enjoy it.

Sledding

Well--for those of you not in Ohio--it has been cold and snowy. We are up to 5 snow days--the last one was on Tuesday. If we miss anymore school days, we will have to make them up. Today is Saturday--so no school means it was the perfect day to enjoy the snow. L&L went sledding with friends. Alyssa and Connor brought a huge inter-tube that everyone fit on. As you can see--everyone had a wonderful time. Amazing how when you are having fun it doesn't seem as cold!!!

Political Rally #2--The Clinton Experience

With Ohio's Primary just around the corner--we have become a hotbed of activity. LOTS of campaigning going on!!! Well-yesterday in Wooster we were visited by Former President Bill Clinton. Wanting to expose L&L to as much of the political process as we can--we were back in line waiting!!!! Cold and WET this time. Start time was supposed to be 5:45--but we KNEW that wouldn't be the real start time!! At 6:50 Ohio Governor Ted Strickland, John Glenn and Bill Clinton took the stage. What a great experience for our kids--that they were seeing a Former President, a retired Senator/Astronaut and the current Governor of our state.
