Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day--LATE--of course!!!! Here is what I made L&L for V-day. It is a knock off of something I found in the book "HELLO CUPCAKE"--which you should check out--it is soooo cool!!!!!!!

Winter in OHIO!!!!

Seriously--I know it's OHIO--but I live on the main road through town--not in the boonies--we got a HUGE snow storm--and I had to use 4 wheel drive to get in my driveway--the city plowed the street--which was good--I needed to get home--but bad for getting in the drive--since the snow from the street ended up along the sides--covering the drive. These are pictures after the drive had been plowed. Thank goodness for the thaw--we had a high in the 50's today!!!!!WOOHOO!!!!!

Logan-ism!!!

OK--I have to say--my children bicker--sometimes they fight--and one day they were trying to both fit into the same space--which of course didn't work and they knocked down a dry erase board. So--Logan being the little handy man he is--fixed it--without any supervision or instruction. Here--is the note he left--Daddy I fixed it for you all it took was some glue and tape don't worry it's sturdy love you from Logan M. Wright--so now the board has been fixed and the corners are covered in scotch tape--but the "glue" he used turned out to be Mod Podge--so I really am not convinced of the "sturdy" portion of Logan's claim--but the board is still hanging on the wall--so maybe there is a new use for the Mod Podge!!!!

Italian!!!!!

Here was my contributions to Italian night. Zuppa Salsiccie--which means sausage soup in italian--this is SOOOO good. Focaccia bread--but I really liked the other recipe I had tried better than this one--but we did use the left overs to make panini's--which were really tasty. And the last picture is just a antipasto platter--separated so nothing really touches--you all know how Andy is about his food touching!!!LOL!!!!

Basketball 2009

Basketball season is over--we didn't have a very successful year--but hey--there is always next year!! Lauryn had a favorite spot to shoot from--as you can tell from the pictures. We are sorry it have it end--but is nice to have her home alittle more often!!

Rubbermaid Store with Sofia

If you live around here and you have an active little person to entertain--and of course have already taken her to the BEST LIBRARY IN THE WHOLE, WIDE WORLD!!!!!!! You take her to the Rubbermaid Store--where she will completely fall in LOVE with everything. Sofia played and played. Here are some pictures of her and Logan--he would pull her around then it would be her turn to pull him--get in Logan--MY TURN--and then our determined little girl would pull him around the play area.

Christmas

Here is what Zio & Zia got Sofia for Christmas--it was a hit--she went everywhere on her bike!!!

What a cutie!!! We had to be quick--she didn't like the reindeer ears at ALL!!!

Lauryn decided to get out Andy & Chris' old music and play us a Christmas song--Up On The House Top over and over and over again--entertainment while cooking dinner--but I have to hand it to her--she stuck with it and sounded great--LOL!!!
